WE’RE ON A MISSION TO SAVE SICK KIDS AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The notorious gamer group known as The Juans of Gamelon, lead by Whisky West’s very own bartender Stef Rider, is back for the third year in a row to Twitch stream some awesome video games and shenanigans for 24 hours while raising money for Seattle Children’s Hospital through an annual online event known as Extra Life!
This year, you can come watch the stream EXCLUSIVELY at Whisky West while enjoying a specialty cocktail menu featuring Tito’s Vodka, Copperworks Gin and Copperworks Single Malt Whisky, Larceny Bourbon, Elijah Craig bourbons, as well as delicious brews from Left Hand Brewing! All sponsors will be donating $1 for every featured beverage to Seattle Children’s in honor of the Juans! We’ll also have some AMAZING balloon art courtesy Accio Entertainment! Come watch the stream, play some games, and enjoy some fabulous cocktails all in the name of CHARITY!!
WHY SEATTLE CHILDREN’S? Seattle Children’s Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few. Seattle Children’s has helped our friends and families over the years, and we are ready to give back so they can continue helping others!!
WHO ARE THE JUANS OF GAMELON? For the last four years, we have been participating in The Question Block Video Game Pub Quiz, hosted by our friends from Seattle Retro Gaming. In that time, our team has made friends and rivals with a formidable group of foes known as The Woodmen! This is our third year as a team raising money for Extra Life, and we will be enjoying some cameos from The Woodmen during our 24 hours of fun for some friendly competition and to help raise more monies for teh childrens! Last year the Juans raised a whopping $2500, and this year we intend to crush that goal!
