Nathan, Rob, Kinsey, and Sean get together to talk about 8-bit 3D games, Zelda, PRGE, corn, Robots, and oh yeah, PAX.

If you attended our PAX Question Block Trivia Panel, thanks! We hope to see you again on Tuesday the 24th of October!

Host: Nathan Martin, Co-Founder, Seattle Retro Gaming Expo (@anotherfluke)

Co-host: Robert Schmuck, Director of Programming, Seattle Retro Gaming Expo (@RJ_Star)

Co-host: Kinsey Burke, PR and Social Media Director, Seattle Retro Gaming Expo (@kinszilla)

Co-host: Sean Taylor, Director of Operations, Seattle Retro Gaming Expo

2:05 – Rob’s been playing 3-D 8-bit games. He manages to avoid the pink eye, which is good because he’s been messing with RGB cables

7:40 – Kinsey manages to find the too-hot-for-TV dragonball game that was banned in Australia, sparking some 2DS discussion and GameBoy Micro love

13:00 – Sean vs. Link’s Awakening, Round 3 FIGHT! Don’t forget your gloves! Sean is beating ALL the Zelda.

22:15 – Nathan spends 4 hours looking for cheesecake but comes up with 100% 80’s hair. Grab your lockpick, shiv, and hat before you open the next door.

27:45 – AWKWARD SEGUE

28:00 – The Nightmareathon will scare the charity out of you

28:35 – SIFF brings back the original boy wizard, Fred Savage to the big screen on October 8th. Want to play Rad Racer on the BIG BIG screen? (yes I know FS isn’t the wizard, Luke Edwards is)

30:40 – Use your ocarina to go back before the Zelda Symphony sold out, and pick me up a ticket while you’re at it.

32:50 – Keep Portland Retro. Sean will be cosplaying as Tifa, and we might get… greek steaks… or hot lips… or VooDoo donuts… or Pizza Schmizza…

36:45 – Sean goes out of bounds to find a Tech Festival, beer on a farm, and an expo that also allows humans. Candidates for best indie game title: Robot Vs. Lumberjack, Camel Coaster, Zombie Farm.

40:58 – I love corn. Also rollercoasters.

42:25 – Let’s talk about PAX, baby

43:30 – Nathan wipes out all evidence of the devious Question Block Trivia Panel at PAX

44:20 – Rob talks about Keiji Inafune’s panel, Mighty No. 9, and Mega Man box art

47:30 – Kinsey doubles down on Battleblock Theater, Diablo III, and hosts the SRGP edition of Make Out, Marry, Meteo. Nate exposes his heart, Rob wusses out, and Sean sets his sights on Resetti

52:50 – Sean asks the question we’re all thinking: Why are we paying for new consoles again?

1:02:00 – Rob answers the question: What could have made Wonderful 101 amazing?

1:02:55 – Nathan rolls through the Indie Megabooth and falls in love with Galak-Z
